I love that this product is creamy and goes on smoothly but I don't see it improving the look of my skin either when used alone or not under makeup when applied. In fact, he only adds one layer under the makeup, which makes the makeup appear too thick. I liked it at first, actually enough to buy another tube of medium color as this shade is really too light for me. I thought I could wear the medium shade as a tinted moisturizer or to unclog pores and improve the look of my foundation, but I didn't see any of those benefits. It's nice and creamy and I'll use it on days when I'm completely makeup-free, but there are other products that balance the look of my skin under makeup better and I find them more satisfying as a primer.
