I got this for my niece who is 13 she loves doing crafts, but I thought this was much more for her age. I like that the canvas can be placed on display on her wall. The kids come with 2 different fun pieces, the flamingo and the pineapple. She said it was fun to make and once she got the hang of it, it was easy to create her characters. I liked it got her off the phone and helped her to create and use her brain.

This craft kit makes 2 string art projects. Instructions are clear and easy to understand. My daughter was easily able to make these string art crafts on her own. The fancy flamingo and cute pineapple were simple to make and decorate with the included glitter pom poms.

My 10 y/o niece loves this craft set! She needs some things to do and have fun with away from her younger brothers. This was definitely a kit to help her out! She did the flamingo first which looks awesome! Her table however was a diff story as it had lots of feathers and craft accessories all over it. My daughter is almost 7 and did well with the crafts, though she needed some help figuring out what to do. I imagine the 10+ age range as labeled would be fine to do this solo. Nope. Bought for my 14 yr old to work on with her 5 yo sister. After working for an hour, they both got frustrated and I tried. We got the string wrapped for the flamingo, but couldn’t get any further. The legs and head won’t stay on, and the double sided tape. I can’t get the paper off. The feathers are a pain to trim, and leave fuzz everywhere. My oldest daughter worked for a half hour trying to untangle the string that immediately snarled.
