Eventually the lens falls apart/breaks with the top screw. I had 3 pairs of these lenses and the lens always broke after about 8-12 months. They changed everything, but it's not free, even guaranteed. Charge a service fee and you have to send back. I've had Ray Bans where this has never happened. Just a pain to keep coming back for repairs. You have to be very careful when cleaning. They are very fragile where the lens and screw are drilled. They are light and this probably contributes to the breakage problem. Clean them very carefully, otherwise they will break over time! Maybe yours is already broken and it just hasn't slipped out yet. The screw still holds the lenses.
