This is a good thickness for leaves (just try to get as few branches as possible). They're a great size! We have solid maples - we have almost 25 bags used for this year alone and up I DON'T LIKE that they don't have tabs so you can't put the full 64 gallons in. You have to fill about 3/4 of the way and then tie it on.. It took 2 people, one around the keeping edges together and tying the other around the vertical sides I won't be buying these again, I want ones with tabs so they fit better and are much easier to tie.
