After a lot of research and gnashing my teeth, I decided on the waterproof Luna Premium mattress topper. I washed it before use as recommended and settled for it. Washed up well. If you're in a hurry, take your time - it takes forever to dry! I air dried first but after over an hour and a half it was still very wet. I cranked it up to the bare minimum and it took about another 2 1/2 hours before it was finally dry enough to put on. The rest is a dream! It is a good size and very easy to put on, the sides are large and it hides under the mattress completely and easily. They hold it in place, there's no movement or shifting. It's very subtle and unobtrusive, but for some reason it still works great! It is pleasant to note that it is quiet to sleep on. The sheet is easy to put on and really comfortable. Finally, I took a fluid test and won again! A significant amount of liquid entered the bed through the sheet through the top of the guard and stayed there. I have a new natural latex mattress that I expect will outlive me so I did this with a waterproof pad under Luna just to be sure. I was very excited when I peeled off the layers and felt between Luna and the pad and it was dry! I am very satisfied with this product and can only recommend it!
