My kitty's name is Zoe and her collar arrived quickly which was great. I cut off the clear tubing with kitchen scissors and continued to adjust the size until I could attach the collar to Zoe's head. Then she managed to put it in her mouth and chew on it to try and get it off. Then she froze, because she couldn't move in the collar! Lol, actually funny. So I cut some more and now she can't reach it with her mouth. I wanted this collar as a precaution because if I let my dogs out at night she would run out the door. So she recovered quickly from the cold and I'll leave it to her. I light it just in case before releasing the dogs. I live in the country and losing her at night can be fatal. For her size, she has a small head and neck, measuring exactly 7 inches in diameter. The pink is very, very bright and you can see it from afar. I have had these collars before but a different brand for my dogs (they have lasted 4 years now) and you can see them at least 50 yards at night maybe more. They are easy to put on right over the head and are especially good for very fluffy black retrievers whose fur will hide all other collars. Since it is simply placed on the head, it hangs freely and is very noticeable. Hidden beneath all that fur is a regular backlit collar that fits snugly around the neck. I love it for that reason and for the reason that I can make it small enough for my cat Zoe to really fit her. The clear tubing is cut at 9" and the total length together with the tubing is 12" and fits her 7" neck perfectly without being too tight and she can't take it off by herself. When she is on something had caught it would definitely have been ripped apart.Peace of mind on everything!I don't know yet how well it will charge, it comes charged but it doesn't bother me and I think everything will be fine.
