Has 2 settings: brighter and brighter, very nice pure white light. I love that it uses a magnetic strip that easily sticks to any surface that you can stick an adhesive strip on. The light sensor is good, if necessary, it is simply removed from the magnetic strip to charge via USB card and then simply glued back onto the strip. Don't turn it on in front of the face, it's so bright, I like it. Update: Unfortunately I never got the chance to use the 2 I bought in Florida. Back in New York I couldn't find them and looked everywhere, I wanted this for my kitchen cabinet to change the batteries. Ordered another one to be installed. The great thing about them is that they light up/go out slowly, so there isn't a huge burst of light. Update: This time it's installed under my kitchen cabinet and works great. The motion sensor isn't overly sensitive so there's no false lighting, the bottom of the case is recessed 2 inches, there's no problem detecting movement where I want it, and the sticker pad sticks quickly so be careful, before sticking it on. I'm set to work all the time and forgetting about the batteries that need replacing and going this route is just how I wanted it to be. Update: Looking around the basement, I found a box of Veepeak lights purchased in Florida in 2018. The keys fired with no problems. Fully charged and now working like new, pretty impressive. Update: 2021 and they still work even after my sister shoved one down the sink with water. . My light/dark and suture movement kit lasts about 2 weeks before needing a charge, saving them on battery costs and conveniently charging them in just a few hours. . Still as bright, still works like straight out of the box.
