Just received so early. There were some initial pairing issues, but in the end I decided to leave it in the case and watched the flashing lights reflect until it paired with my first device before removing it from the case. After that no problem. After the first pairing with my phone (ZTE Axon 7 running Android 8 and Bluetooth 4.2), I turned off Bluetooth on my phone and the earbuds automatically went into pairing mode and I paired them with my Windows 10 desktop PC with Bluetooth 4.0 dongle . To reconnect to my phone I turned off bluetooth on pc then went into bluetooth settings on my phone and clicked on T5 and they reconnected. However, the headphones did not automatically reconnect to the phone after being disconnected from the PC. I'm a little disappointed but still easier than some of the other headphones I have. You can see my answer to my question about multipoint (the ability to actively connect to more than one device at a time). In short, they can't, at least not with my current Bluetooth 4.0 dongle and Bluetooth 4.2 phone combo. I have a Bluetooth 5.0 dongle on the go and will be testing it again (but still with my Bluetooth 4.2 phone as I can't find anything newer that I think has the right mix of features and size to fit my Axon 7 to replace). I will report it. At first I was a bit unimpressed with the installation. They have no rubber insert or adapter. They just fit in the ears like Apple headphones (and Airpods, I don't have them I think). At first they just felt unsteady, like they were sitting in my ears with no fixation. Eventually I decided to trust and found I could run and jump up and down without knocking her over. They appear to be placed very delicately, as if almost any touch could detach them. The time will show. Chewing doesn't seem to loosen them, which is reassuring. Yawning won't kill her. So far, so good. It was only necessary to reach that level of confidence and continue testing. In terms of comfort, my rubber earbuds tend to hurt my ears after a short stay. Hope it stays comfortable for longer. The only noise cancellation (on the listening side, because the mic is a different technology and we need to see that) seems to come from music playback. When I pause, I hear sounds almost as if I had no headphones in my ears. I wonder why two touches stop the music. Not sure why there isn't a one touch function other than maybe accident prevention? Double tap to answer a call. Double tap to end a call. Double tap to pause the music. Double tap to play music. Ignoring individual touches seems like a bit of a waste of time. From my PC (Bluetooth 4.0 dongle) it's not as good as some of the older models in terms of range. Only partially connected to my downstairs kitchen (computers in my 2nd floor office) and not as far from the kitchen as my older friends. Not so hot what's up. The connection stayed high maybe 6ft from the kitchen with my phone. I was able to block the signal from the left earbud by holding my left ear with the phone in my back pocket, and after removing my hand, never reconnected until I put it in the case and took it back. (When I did that, the right earbud also stopped playing until I took the left one out of the case, but then they reconnected (however, the music didn't restart until I double-clicked the button on the left earbud). .) The right earbud did not turn off when closed simultaneously or alone. In another test, I only closed the left earbud and stopped all music for both earbuds, but it resumed on its own after removing my hand. The details are here, but that's what I like to learn from user comments. Hope they are helpful. I intend to come back with my other insights after using them for a while. Same day update based on two test calls. Neither went well. Both my son and daughter said they could hardly hear me. Used both earbuds for a quick phone call with my daughter. I called her. My son called me. I only had the right earbud. He said the same. Thing - could barely hear me, I sounded "far away". Try another earphone. He immediately made a connection but said my sound hadn't really changed. He put the right receiver in the case and continued talking, but without change. It looks like it won't work very well for phone calls in my case unless there's some secret I don't already know. Update in a few days: I'm not THAT impressed with the battery life; it's just ok I am very impressed with the convenience and ease of pairing and switching between paired devices. I'm not at all impressed with the microphone, which barely seems to work. So far I've been using it in single-ear mode to listen to streaming news through my computer and it works great for that. Disappointed with the microphone. I was offered a second set of headphones for only $10 with shipping in exchange for a 5 star rating which I will not rely on but for that reason beware of 5 star reviews here. Update 04/27/2020: These are now my favorite headphones, but not because they are perfect. I'm starting to have some problems. The right one often doesn't connect until I've opened and closed the case several times, and only now it wouldn't load into the case; I had to take it out and put it back in the case a few times to charge it. One or the other (or both) cannot reliably separate from my phone when placed in a case and the case is closed. My phone says they're still connected, and in fact I can hear music playing through the case's closed lid when that's the case. As far as comfort goes, it's top notch. The sound is pretty good. I've been using them for "private listening" via the Roku app and there's usually a noticeable lag which is annoying, but sometimes I can plug things in so the lag is really minimal. You only have to work a few times.
