I take dehydration seriously as I live in the desert but I just don't like the taste of electrolyte supplements in my water to keep up with the micronutrients in my body. I'm also diabetic so I can't drink real sugar drinks. Enter Ultima powder. I bought a few packs of this brand in different flavors from a local premium store to try. New medications lower the electrolyte levels in the body, so I take my regular salt stick supplements to keep my magnesium and potassium levels healthy. They work well, but I really wanted the powder to add a nice flavor to my water that would encourage me to drink more fluids. I really liked all the flavors so I found this large container of the same powder and did the math and found it was a much better value per serving. In fact, I can double the dose and take a higher dose and it tastes great and I'm catching up faster. I am very happy with this mixture and my calf cramps are long gone. The taste is great and it's a very effective supplement.
