Review on πŸ’‘ Philips Flicker-Free LED Technology, Adjustable Color Temperature (2200K-2700K) by Tammy Campbell

The new design is rubbish compared to the original

The issues I'm having may be due to the manufacturer having to redesign the bulb to meet California requirements fulfill. So JMMV. I bought this to replace a blown lightbulb in my dining room. It has 5 lights. I made sure to choose a lamp with the same model number so that the color would match and hopefully the dimming function would match. Result: total failure. The colors are slightly different. Darkening is very different. In fact, this bulb "steps up" more than it dims, and goes out when 1/8th of the slider remains. Completely different from older lamps of the same model. And yes, the dimmer I use is for LED bulbs. Works great with the rest of the original bulbs. To be honest they are not impressive at all. A significant reduction compared to the original bulbs of the same model range.

Pros
  • bulb. Warm glow dimming provides silent, flicker-free dimming that works with more dimmer switches than any other LED on the market; The more you dim the warmer the light 2200 to 2700 Kelvin just like traditional incandescent bulbs
Cons
  • Big and bulky
