This is my third time repainting this tub and hopefully the last time. This product is unlike any other product I have used before. I'm happy with the result, although I could have done better if I watched more YouTube videos and got some tips that I was missing when taking a bath. I would advise the seller to include instructions. Simply providing a website is not enough. Check out the videos posted by individuals check out mine. I made a lot of mistakes that could have been avoided if I had seen a lot of variety. I have included photos of my damaged tub and the steps I took to fix it. I used razor blades, paint scrapers and a steam cleaner to remove the old finish. I removed all caulk around the tub. I cleaned the tub with lime, rust and limescale remover, rinsed with water and then wiped with alcohol and a clean cloth. Things you will need: gloves, clean clothes, screwdriver, tape, at least 3 layers of rags, hair dryer or heat gun, clean plastic cups, rectangular wooden stirrer. Wear tight-fitting clothing that you don't mind ruining. Make sure the room temperature is around 70-75 degrees Fahrenheit. Too warm - the product hardens faster, too cold - hardening takes longer. Try not to let the dust fly around. Watch out for flying or crawling insects, if caught, they will get stuck if you can't get them out before the product stops self-leveling. Clear everything out of the area. I removed any hanging shelves, the soap from the dishes, and anything else that might have fallen into the tub. Remove equipment and pipes if you can, protect them with tape if you can't. Shut off the water supply. I turned off the faucet in the bathtub, but I still had a drip. I used a baby diaper and a rubber glove taped to the nozzle so not a drip ruined my work. There is a seal on the glass and I had to use a flathead screwdriver to remove it. Once you have combined the 2 components, you are ready. Mix thoroughly for at least 10 minutes or more. You CANNOT use a drill or other mechanical stirrers, you must stir by hand. Once mixed, start pouring over the corners and the edge on the other side. Start at 11am and go clockwise. Don't worry about the bottom of the tub until you've covered all sides. Remember that the bottom of the tub has a slight slope and the product levels off towards the bottom where the drain is located. Overall I think this is a wonderful product. I liked the result. I did a few imperfections but even with those imperfections it looks 99% better and almost new.
