Review on πŸ§₯ Rectangle Outerwear Patches by Harsgs by Kristen Reid

Revainrating 3 out of 5

Very thin, no instructions

I have a pair of jeans that are probably 25 or 30 years old, in poor condition of course. I replaced them with "for me" days, mostly days when I sit and watch sports all day. The only problem is that I usually only have a few of these days a year at most. I wanted to wait until I've washed my jeans at least once after applying the patches and gotten used to them a bit before writing a review. I will not wash them after only wearing them once which means they are more likely to only wash once or twice a year due to low usage. I recently got a few days off of "me" to watch the US OPEN golf tournament and after that I decided it was time to wash them. The patches came in a plastic bag, nothing else, no instructions. You will immediately notice that they are very thin, like paper. I chose two, one inside and one outside. I used what I would call medium heat to set the iron and ironed thoroughly for 30 seconds to a minute for each section. After that I used the pants for three days and the patches held up well. I washed them in hot water and the patches didn't feel good, there was noticeable curl in about half the corners, maybe I didn't use enough heat or didn't iron them enough. . I will try and update them again, there are some holes in the jeans. For now I would recommend ironing them on high heat for at least a minute and washing them in lukewarm water only. They may be best suited for decorative purposes. Fast update. Instructions are in the description part above, they should come with the patches.
