Capezio Short Sleeve Leotard: Stylish Girls' Clothing Jumpsuit & Romper Review

My granddaughter is 2 years old, she is very thin and tiny for her age. I thought the SM 4/6 swimsuit was too big for her but it fit her body perfectly but was a bit longer. Since she wears diapers, the bathing suit fits very well. If she were 4 years old, if she wasn't a very, very little 4 year old girl, this wouldn't be the best choice for her.

My daughter who just turned 12 has just started wearing 10-12 in different dresses and is quite small for her age. However when we bought size L we found it too tight at the bottom and she would probably outgrow it within a year, I would recommend going up a size.

These are some of the cheapest swimwear I've found. I'm glad we didn't spend a lot of money because they do a great job. We use ours for gymnastics and I can say they don't ride up at all and fit my daughter very well, but I had to buy a size up.

Firstly I agree with all the other sizing comments and this applies to all Capezio Youth swimwear - go one size up! My daughter (who is admittedly long torso for her age) wore S (4-6) when she was 3-4 and now at 5 wears Medium Comfort (6-8). She is happy with the choice. It fits well and doesn't bulge. She loves the color, it matches her dance shoes and goes well with her tutus.

The fabric is regular but more cotton than spandex so not very stretchy or smooth to the touch. More like a cotton t-shirt. Smaller than expected - Baby 3T. I bought a size 2 to 4 and doubt it would fit her as a 4 - and she is small for her age and average weight. Her last swimsuit was Mirella in size 2 to 4 and still fits with more room and stretch. I have just bought my 9 year old daughter different styles of leotards for dance class and this is our favorite. It feels so soft and fits perfectly.

I bought a medium for my tall 3 year old and there is room for growth. I like the insert in the swimsuit, it's comfortable. Excellent.

Perfect fit for my 4 year old. She is 44 inches tall and weighs 39 pounds. It goes up to a size 8 but I would see it as a really small 8. I love that the front is double lined.

All jerseys run small, which fits just like all the others. Order one size larger than what they wear in their clothes. Great quality and value!

My daughter wears a 12/14 so I bought the Lrg. It fits perfectly, it would be better if it didn't grow anymore. I was surprised that the quality was good. I will stick with this brand because I bought another one with a low back in the same size. This quality was better. The other got lint when wearing it for the first time (before washing). You can't go wrong with this.

The color goes perfectly with her purple tutu. The quality is not bad, but not outstanding either. The material is similar to a regular t-shirt but has a little stretch. I wish it was thicker and softer. In general everything is fine. Not bad, but nothing to be particularly excited about.

Our 9 year old daughter (in the pink dress) is 60 pounds and wears a GIRLS LARGE dress. It's a little saggy in the drawers but fits the crotch. The lion is also a real green hunter.

I ordered this Leo 3 years ago for my daughter for dance lessons. She wore it from the age of 5 to 8 (she is short for her age and skinny). This lion has always fitted well, although now the sleeves definitely seem a little too small. I've always line dried it (except 1 or 2 times when it went through the dryer!) and it's held up well. Cotton blend fabrics have always been comfortable. It was a great purchase!

Capezio tends to work a bit tight/little. They are a trusted dance brand and we will carry them FOREVER. But size 4/5 is better for a 4 year old than a 5 year old (makes sense?). So if your child isn't small for their age or very petite – maybe one size up. Fast shipping plus!

I bought this in toddler size to wear my 15 month old baby's clothes. She is 33 inches and almost 22 pounds. It fits - but it's REALLY cozy. The quality is excellent! I can return and reorder in a small quantity as I plan to add snaps for quicker/easier diaper changes. (Someone really needs to make one with bars!)

The material is of good quality, the size is more or less approaching. My daughter is very tall for her age with a longer torso and this brand was perfect.

I bought it a medium size because it stood 8-10 but was surprised it was too small for my daughter who was currently looking at a 10 in a different outfit. However, I checked Capezio's size chart on their website and their medium is actually a size 7-8 and large is a 10-12.

I ordered it for my 3 year old daughter, size 2-4T. In regular clothing she wears 3T and 4T, but being smaller (20th percentile) I can even get away with 2T on some things. I thought it would be the right size, but I didn't expect it to grow with her for long. However, it is small to begin with. Yes, they need to be adjusted, but it's quite a hassle and we definitely had to scale up. The material appeared to be of decent quality, it hadn't been heavily worn at the moment.
