For what it is it seems pretty solid. I bought it to program on my 8th gen iPad when the kids are busy with my work computer. Not sure how well this will handle a fall so keep that in mind. Battery life seems decent, but sometimes I feel like I'm typing too fast. Or the function key is automatically activated due to the small area. As with all of these laptop adapters, the touchpad is fine. It's really about managing your expectations; Your iPad will never become a laptop. But this case definitely helps to get closer and improve performance.
