My kids love it! Everyone wants cereal in a straw bowl. Holds up well in the dishwasher. I had no trouble cleaning the straw. I run hot water through a straw before putting it in the dishwasher just to make sure there's no milk in it. If this occurs after rinsing with hot water, I use a fine, spill-proof cup cleaner to wash out the milk.
