It's just a filter. It works out. It is not expensive.
There is nothing special about this filter, except that it is cheap. Changing the engine air filter is very easy. Most filter housings have 3 or 4 opening clips. I have 4 screws so I needed a basic Phillips screwdriver to open the case. Remove old filter, insert new filter, close and secure housing. Throw the old filter in the trash. Ready in less than a minute. Dealers and mechanics will charge 2-3 times more than this filter to replace the engine air filter for you.
