Works first time, once charged it's good and bright. I've only had it about a week but if it works at all it is better than the last flashlights i bought. Hoping it lasts a long time. Holds a charge and is very bright. I even accidentally dropped it a few times and it didn't break. There is no way to attach a cord to it, that's the only thing I would change if I could. recharges in just a few hours. I am planning to buy another one for my son. Works great and is inexpensive compared to other rechargeable flashlights. I just bought this flashlight again. The first one worked great, but my son borrowed it and it's not known if and when he'll come out of his room. Or where he stayed. Dropped countless times, a carrying strap would have really helped but nothing wrong with that. Some don't last a month or stop working the first time.
