As someone said before, the end of the flashlight is a simple silicone plug that covers the USB ports (USB Micro & USB - A) and the power button. A flash is fine if you're on a boat that requires attention, but I think salt water can wreck the poor thing. Works first time, once charged it's good and bright. I've only had it about a week but if it works at all it is better than the last flashlights i bought. Hoping it lasts a long time. Holds a charge and is very bright. I even accidentally dropped it a few times and it didn't break.
