I first bought this to give to my daughter. I look after them and when I arrived it was still very dark in the winter months. Although there is a street lamp in the corner of their yard, the pole's shadow actually falls on their porch, and unless they leave the porch lights on I can't even see the doorknob, let alone the keyhole. This very small device glows bright enough to find the right key and gives me just enough time to open the door before it shuts off. It was very easy to install - just use double sided tape. We included a lithium battery because they can withstand heat or cold better and just last longer. As long as it's still going strong!
