I had a 7.2 setup and wanted to upgrade to 9.2.2 speakers with my Denon AVR X3600H receiver. I originally installed the shelves as rear high speakers (I already have 4 Sonance ceiling speakers). I wasn't overly impressed so I decided to use the Polk as the rear speakers and used the Sonance for the rear high and mid high instead. I was amazed at the sound quality. They are amazing and very easy to assemble. I've attached a picture so you can see how great they go together. When I ran the Odyssey setup the recommended cutoff frequency was 80Hz but I set it to 110Hz. Their high frequencies are amazing, the sound is loud and clear. They can also make a decent base, and I've found around 110 to be optimal. When buying speakers, be sure to buy the corner mount brackets separately, especially if you want a professional and tidy setup.
