I got this apple corer and it cores and peels apples quickly, my husband wouldn't let me near him so I put a bushel of mixed apples in front of him and smiled and said eat on it. He peeled the skin and core from all these apples in a matter of minutes. Then I put some in the Instant Pot Duo. and boiled them half soft and baked a beautiful cake. Applesauce was made from the remaining apples. One of his favorite breakfast dishes is potato pancakes, so he made a skillet with potato pancakes, removed the core, and fried the potatoes for a nice mishmash. Finally it was packed enough to leave it alone and looked good on the countertop. And it absorbs very well on the countertop. I am satisfied and will bake for all the holidays and with pleasure.
