This is a cross between a storage box and a play mat. The container has a lid and works with popular 13 inch cube organizers. . When laid flat, the rug has a child-friendly design with hills, a lake and a volcano. When playtime is over, the toys can be swept to the center of the rug and the walls of the trash can collapsed. It is very convenient and easy to clean. (provided the toy fits in the bin, of course) Corner panels consist of only one layer of fabric. This works best when the rug is folded into a container, but when unfolded the corners will not line up exactly with the hard panels of fabric. Velcro needs to be replaced. Now the hard side of the velcro (hook) is on the basket itself. The soft flaps don't completely cover the hooks. So if something soft hits the side of the trash can, it will get stuck. It would be better to have the soft side on the trash can and the hooks on the valves. The color in the photos is more of a dark turquoise, while in real life it is more of a greenish shade than blue. It's still pretty and gender neutral, but keep that in mind when trying to find a specific color.
