Get the real deal, not worth your hassle.

I would like to leave 1 star but in fairness. He really slipped. It's just not very well done. The Sparco equivalent is $88, which is less than $40 including shipping, so I rolled the dice. I should not have done that. Literally arrived covered in grease. I had to hold it all down with a wedge so I wouldn't get covered with it. I also didn't want grease staining the cloth bottom of the seat. I understand it needs lubrication, but maybe just toss a packet of lube in the box? Attempting to install a Sparco r100 on a seat. Pretty typical sports driver's seat, as vanilla as it gets. This item is NOT universal. Buyers should be careful: the holes are roughly drilled and do not match the pattern of the Sparco seats. They differ by about 1/32, which means you're widening or narrowing the hole with a shark bit. In my case I have returned. I half tried to force it and ended up almost twisting it which destroyed the seat frame. (Or at least got me running a faucet I don't have) I'm using this in a racing sim so I wasn't worried about the safety factor, but if you have this installed in a real car, DO NOT CHECK the frame compensation of misalignments. I'm sure if I ordered 6 at a time I would probably get (1) unit close enough to fit, but otherwise it would be useless to me. Another note: you cannot remove the rails from the assembly to bolt them to the seat as they have stamped locking tabs on the rail. So it's unthinkable to actually install this without loosening the spring back and forth and sliding the guide by hand to get to the screw holes. First you need to attach a real spring guide to the seat frame. . AND THEN place the sliders on the seat itself.
