As a scale, this is actually a pretty decent scale and a good price for a scale, but that's where the praise ends. It's advertised that the scale can sync with Google Fit, but it is NOT. The app is pretty easy to use when you first launch it, and it's pretty easy to connect by following the instructions on the scale itself. The app lets you choose your Fitbit and/or Google Fit sync options. If you use Samsung Health, look for other scales as they won't work with it (it would if synced first with Google Fit and then with an app called Health Sync). Try as I might, I couldn't sync the app with Google Fit. Another issue is that you need to have location enabled to use the app. Why do I have to turn on the location, I don't understand, it's a scale, it will only ever be in one place, in my house! Finally, my BMI is in the normal range (after a recent doctor visit) and yet the app tells me I'm dangerously overweight! So treat any reading other than weight with a pinch of salt. So, in conclusion, while the scale itself can be great and seems to have great reviews, I suggest you also check out the ratings (2.6 stars average) for the app, it's nothing but great!
