on me they mostly look like men's boxer shorts; they don't look as cute as they do on the model. again, very much like men's underwear shorts. but i got these for hitting the gym, not for hitting the town, so i'm mostly pleased. they are comfy and don't ride up too much when i'm exercising (everything rides up during burpees). i can stretch/do yoga in them without complete flashing of my lady bits. i've only tried this one pair, i don't know if there is fluctuation in the manufacturing, but on this pair, the elastic is NOT too tight (as is often the case with elastic smock top pants). i'm around 29 inch waist, and about 36-7ish hips, and they have a quality, modest fit. (i tried buying some of the pants of this brand a while back and they WERE too restrictive in the elastic). i LOVE the pockets, SO well sewn; on me they don't pucker at all! quality fabric and thread. they are VERY well made shorts and worth the price. i shall buy a good many of them, and if the quality/elastic tightness fluctuates, i'll update this review.but as for now.i'd recommend these casual shorts to all.
