I'm deducting a star because the shoes smell strongly of chemicals. I couldn't find on the website if these shoes are machine washable but I took a chance. After soaking them in water and detergent for 30 minutes, I rinsed them and tumble dried them. The smell is gone. Aside from this hiccup, the shoes are very soft, survived the dryer just fine. The sole of the shoe is ideal for walking on cold parquet floors, but especially for dinosaurs. My daughter has been crazy about them lately and I'm sure like every other kid in the house she's growling and trying to feed her with her food toys and sticking her finger in her trap and pretending to be bitten been. Overall, they are not only very useful as slippers, but are also a lot of fun for my little one.
