In my house, most of the kitchen cabinets and drawers are on the wall shared with the master bedroom. The factory/contractor installed bumpers were this soft foam material that compacts over time and becomes ineffective, so my sleep was often interrupted by closet doors closing while breakfast and morning coffee was being prepared.
