Sturdy and functional for my small space

I received this unassembled storage bench in good condition in a cardboard box. The box isn't very big, just long. It wasn't very difficult to carry up a flight of stairs. I would say it's moderately heavy. The unassembled pieces are surrounded by a layer of styrofoam. All of the pieces in my package came in good condition without any defects or anything missing. I received all of my parts and screws. A printed instruction booklet with diagrams is included. This comes with an Allen wrench, but does suggest the use of a regular screwdriver. It strongly recommends against the use of a power tool. I was able to efficiently assemble the furniture with no problem without the use of a power drill. I did use my own screwdriver instead of the Allen wrench. I carefully and slowly followed the instructions and built my furniture with ease. I did get stuck on one step because I didn't know what one of the connecting screws was used for as I'd never seen it before in my life, but I asked my boyfriend for advice and he's familiar with building these kinds of things and he figured that part out. Other than that, I was able to assemble it with ease. My storage bench came out sturdy and looks great. It says you can use it for shoes, but I'm using mine in the kitchen to store drink bottles such as iced tea and protein powder tubs. I love my bench, it makes my kitchen look more organized and put together. It's perfect for my small space, and the quality that you get is worth the price.
