Evaluation after 3 weeks.

Summary With lots of features and a reasonable price you can't go wrong with this tripod or any other tripod device, while I'm a fan of the fewest leg sections, Corey is smaller but has more leg sections , feet, and 4 is my limit. Why did I get it? It fell on a soft surface, and one of the caps holding the leg fell off, and part of the thread holding the cap broke off. last 6 months. Since my Manfrotto carbon tripod weighs about 0.5kg more than the Travis, I decided to continue using the Travis as a lightweight tripod. Considering the folded Travis is just over half the length of the Manfrotto and 0.5kg lighter... Travis quickly becomes a tripod that I can toss in the trunk for a quick catch of the sunset on my way to the local park to capture /See to photograph nature My experience Once I got used to everything, I fell in love with this tripod! Eventually I got used to everything that was different. I am happy with it and if I had to replace my Manfrotto in the future I would seriously consider getting a 3 piece carbon fiber tripod from a 3 leg thing. ProsArca Swiss: The fact that I can use my harness plate for quick transport / Arca Swiss. L bracket, no need to install Manfrotto quick release plate on the bottom of the plate for quick carrying. Accessories are because I can retrofit the clamps independently of a new tripod head. In regions of the world with severe winters, being able to replace the rubber feet with spikes that grip the ice better when trying to shoot on frozen lakes and shores is a huge benefit. All possible configurations! The capabilities of this tripod are intimidating and to be honest there are some that I will never use but to be able to go camping with a tripod that weighs around 1.6kg... and able Being able to mount a monopod with three leg positions and three center columns means there will be very few situations where I feel like I'm missing a tool in my tripod kit. Pockets for head and body. If you asked me before buying this tripod, what do you think of tripod bags? I would tell you that I found them useless when carrying a carbon fiber tripod without protection. It is good to be able to protect the tripod from bumps and scratches. But my ability to walk with a camera on one shoulder and a tripod on the other is incredibly handy. ConsTwist Twist Locks - Due to the flip locks, which take some getting used to. Leg Lock Position - These are great for work, but breaking them can be a little frustrating when the legs are at a 55 or 80 degree angle and the legs are extended, which can make it difficult to get the legs into a transport position.
