My current favorite tripod.

I love this tripod. It's not just about crazy corners. But the handles on the bottom keep it from slipping off a pole you land on. Not to mention the tripod stuff website has other mods for your tripod that will give you more maneuverability. I've heard some people complain about leg length reel grips versus clamps, saying that clamps are easier. But I assure you that setting up this tripod is still as quick as before. I can probably stretch all my legs and set up the camera in less than a…

The best update I've done!

Strong strong strong! And wow, he's big! I recently switched from a very cheap and basic tripod because I was having camera shake in my photos and the joints were starting to fall apart. This thing is amazing - it was a pleasure working directly with the three-legged stuff (minor issue with the carrying case and they sent a new one straight away). I thought the max height might be a bit above my eye level, but it appears to be 5ft 3in above me. It's not specifically made for travel, but it's…

The perfect all-round tripod

This tripod is strong enough for any type of photography, including long exposure astrophotography. The end user can disassemble it with the tool provided and service/clean the tripod. It folds compactly at just 17 inches and weighs 3.6 pounds, making it the perfect all-round tripod. Using it on a rocky beach or grassy fields has been a pleasure so far. Company: What sets the 3-leg thing apart from other companies' tripods is that if a part breaks, they replace that part at cost plus shipping…

Good tackle. Fits my travel needs.

This is a first impression evaluation. I think it's a good device and I'm happy with my choice. Was looking for a tripod to travel light with. Not as compact as some, but also big enough for my 6'1" height. The weight will be noticeable for all day, but not an issue for morning or late afternoon use when I'm expecting to use it. The ball head is very smooth, buttons are a good size, locking mechanisms feel solid and durable, meets my needs for my mirrorless camera system, a real step up from…

Slightly better than much cheaper tripods

Looks cool but is clearly entry level from this brand. I used it once and when I returned home I found the level fell out of my head and lost forever. The ball is difficult to hold tight enough with the small adjustment knob. My Fuji xT3 slipped every time and it's a very light camera. Bought for a pretty serious backcountry shoot but doesn't inspire confidence. The bottom legs kept coming loose on the trail, and the little hook on the underside of the extension would probably get lost pretty…

Punk Travis Well Liked Semi Pro

I purchased this product solely based on web research and YouTube reviews. We looked at a few of the more well known brands and I just couldn't figure out how much better they are for premium. In the end, Travis was chosen based on reviews, looks (better physique and trendier suit), and price. It weighs 3.6 pounds, just 0.6 pounds heavier than its brother Billy, who weighs 3 pounds and is made of carbon fiber. Easy to adjust, not heavy, folds compactly like a travel tripod. He belongs to the…

Mostly good: camera and photo

This tripod is mostly good. I think for the money I paid I should have found somewhere else as he is very shaky and has the smallest of legs stretched out. I might find something cheaper with the same stability that will reach the heights I need. I wouldn't use that part of the legs at all. The handles on the legs are of good quality and hold tight, and the tripod as a whole is made of quality materials. I've used this with my Nikon D800 and my Fuji XT-1 and XT-2. This works much better for…

Evaluation after 3 weeks.

Summary With lots of features and a reasonable price you can't go wrong with this tripod or any other tripod device, while I'm a fan of the fewest leg sections, Corey is smaller but has more leg sections , feet, and 4 is my limit. Why did I get it? It fell on a soft surface, and one of the caps holding the leg fell off, and part of the thread holding the cap broke off. last 6 months. Since my Manfrotto carbon tripod weighs about 0.5kg more than the Travis, I decided to continue using the Travis
