I love this tripod. It's not just about crazy corners. But the handles on the bottom keep it from slipping off a pole you land on. Not to mention the tripod stuff website has other mods for your tripod that will give you more maneuverability. I've heard some people complain about leg length reel grips versus clamps, saying that clamps are easier. But I assure you that setting up this tripod is still as quick as before. I can probably stretch all my legs and set up the camera in less than a minute.
