This is a first impression evaluation. I think it's a good device and I'm happy with my choice. Was looking for a tripod to travel light with. Not as compact as some, but also big enough for my 6'1" height. The weight will be noticeable for all day, but not an issue for morning or late afternoon use when I'm expecting to use it. The ball head is very smooth, buttons are a good size, locking mechanisms feel solid and durable, meets my needs for my mirrorless camera system, a real step up from the previous two tripods I've had, I've made many comparisons and my decision had impact .The point is that this tripod was used by a seasoned professional and it cost less than $200 and I expect it to give good service for a few years.
