Review on Skullcandy Ink&#39 Portable Audio & Video by Rachel Mercer

Revainrating 3 out of 5

If you enjoy listening to music but are not looking for the absolute.

After buying these I honestly can't imagine going back to wired headphones or headphones. If you love listening to music but aren't looking for absolutely 100% pristine sound, this is one of those things in life that you didn't know you NEEDed until you actually got it and realized how much better your music listening experience is . . does not bind. I see a lot of reviews writing things like music disappearing when phone is in pocket / Bluetooth is covered? I personally haven't had this unless the phone/headphones are dead. It might have something to do with phones/devices. I use my LG 5 phone and Alienware laptop and again I have no problems with the correct battery. The device slips off the neck/shoulders and if you have long hair like me it can be a bit difficult to put the device back in place. I think there are more expensive versions of SkullCandy's wireless devices that probably solve this problem. Anyway, I've been an avid SkullCandy fan for about a decade and am once again impressed with the product I got from them. . If you are just trying to decide if these are worth buying let me just tell you that in my experience they are worth it. The sound quality is what you would expect from SkullCandy ink headphones, which means it's pretty good! The bass is good but not too powerful, the quality is crisp and clear. The price is quite reasonable for the product you're getting, and the lack of a device connection will likely change your life for the better. And you know, if you don't like them, you can always just go back.

Pros
  • Durable finish
Cons
  • Poorly thought out
