Thin, you can see through them if you hold them up to the light.
My wife has been an RN surgeon for 30 years. If the packet of surgical towels was opened and not everyone used them, they were either thrown away or given to someone who needed them. I have about 50 of these wipes left. As old as they are, they're still a lot heavier than this towel, and if you hold them up to the light you can't see anything through them. Are all your towels that thin? . I will leave them because they are new and no longer 16x24 after washing. I don't expect them to last long and will look for a better quality towel.
