I'm not an audiophile but I'm a professional music producer and I can attest that this sounds amazing. I actually previously had a Sennheiser Momentum 2 but had to send it back because it didn't fit and was irritating my right ear. Sony are comfortable and sound fantastic. The Sennheisers sounded a bit louder, but the Sonys are a bit clearer and have a tighter bottom end. They also have MUCH more headroom, so you don't have to turn them up louder and risk distortion. The equalizer is excellent, as is the ambient mode. It's also better than Momentum. The only drawback is the size. They don't really bother me, but they're not as stylish as Airpods. Although I don't mind.
