Light, comfortable, efficient
I love these things. They are neither bulky nor uncomfortable. I usually forget I'm wearing them until I need them - like today when a shoe root tore my front tire and threw me to the ground - with no scratches or injuries to my hand. Or the other day when I rode wide to make room for another bike going the other way and clipped the no area sign. It was attached to the faucet. Turns out you can't just "blow out" these things. When I hit the rocky Arizona desert, the rocks tore my Osprey pack apart. my elbows? intact. Highly recommended.
