, which is the right value for money for you. It's certainly not a powerful device, but it's responsive, has a good screen, and while the keyboard is a little muddy, that's not a bad thing. It took me less than an hour to set it up from the factory to the point where I was ready to go. use it for everything. I spend most of my time on Macs, so this will never be my primary computer, but I will use it to test my web design and web video production work. However, I skipped the Microsoft Office suggestion (you might need it, but I use Open Office in a Windows environment) and downloaded copies of Chrome and Firefox, so I had different browsers than the one that comes with this Lenovo. They all ran with no hiccups or problems. When I first launched DaVinci Resolve, it warned me that the GPU in this laptop might not be able to handle some color correction tasks, but that wasn't a big deal. Surprise. It said it would work at 1080 resolution and be able to do basic color correction. Again, this isn't a problem for me since I work in Final Cut on a Mac, but it's nice to have an alternative when needed. However, this can also be a deterrent for those looking for a portable slot machine. I don't do them either, so it's just a warning if you do. The sound is a bit disappointing. This is to be expected of many low-end laptops, and this one seems pretty average in that area. If sound is important to you then I would invest in a good set of headphones or speakers if that is going to be your main source of music or online audio. Like many modern machines, it has few ports. It has USB2 and USB3 and as a videographer I like that it still has a card slot. There's also an HDMI port for output to a TV or monitor. This is a plus. Ports are important because one of the things that almost always gets plugged into it is an external SSD or hard drive to make up for the small internal drive. Video files become large. I'm making a video. 128 GB is just not enough. I like the fact that the power comes from a wall outlet and a long cord rather than a configuration with a power cord running from the wall to the power supply and then another cord to the computer. It's just a cleaner layout than other computers, and Lenovo gets an A for this design. Overall this is a good score for a decent machine at a decent price for general use. you could make it worse
