I've bought a few sets of these style cube shelf bins over the years and they just wear out over time; the box bulges at the front due to handles, the corners are rounded, etc. i haven't found anything that really holds up. I was pleasantly surprised when they arrived and they are dam thick and very durable; I mean really hard. The fabric covering is a nicer quality than the non-woven 'fabric' that I'm used to from other brands. The handles also look much better, they are riveted. The only problem is that my cats seem to want to grab them and climb in. I had to donate the cube on the shelf for them, I bought them a little cat cube made for the IKEA Kallax shelf lol. (See photo) If you're worried about mounting them on the IKEA Kallax cube shelf, they fit absolutely perfectly with no gaps all the way around. I am very happy with them and if you are willing to pay a little more I would highly recommend them.
