I cut my son and husband's hair at home. (Thank you Covid). I also have a cotton ragdoll cat and he prefers his hair cut short. Unfortunately, the hair is so fine and thin that it quickly ruins the clippers. My regular clippers are professional clippers and I usually use them for a little over 12 months before cat hair ruins them. I really like this hair clipper compared to the hair clipper. It's lighter and seems to do the job well. It didn't come with all the bells and whistles (charging station, case, oil not included) but I either use it or I don't, so I didn't miss it. The button is bigger and it's easier for me to work. I like that it's rechargeable. I get enough power to cut both people without charging. I had my 11 year old daughter cut my son's hair and we found that it left lines when she used it. Cross cutting fixed it, but it seems the teeth on the blade are wider than those on my shaft and that could be the problem. Still, they're great for the cat and since we don't use bait with them, we didn't see any lines. It will be interesting to see how long they last. Good find!
