I have cut my son's hair for years now, but lately he does not like me to cut it because it "is too short". I looked these up and bought them so I could leave his hair longer after cutting it, and it worked! Now everybody is happy because he doesn't look like a mop top anymore and it's still left long enough for him to like it!

A perfect compatible addition to my WAHL Model 9649.9649 came with multiple attachments up to 1” hair length. This add on makes it easy to leave my hair longer on top without fear of cutting it too short.Now giving me the results I want (1 1/2” on top) is fairly quick and easy.System (cutter and extra attachments) paid for itself with 1st 3 uses… as opposed to going to the barber.Also saves time… no driving to barber or waiting there.I do miss my chatting with my barber some though.

Able to cut hair and leave at longer length with these guides. Be gentle with them. Fit my Wahl Senior 5 star professional clippers with ease.

I got these because I like a longer spike on my head and short sides. The clipper set I have didn't include these longer sizes and these were listed at great deal. These guides do the job but be careful with them as they are entirely made of cheap and flimsy plastic, unlike the guards I have with metal backs. However, they do provide a decent and longer cut if you are gentle with them. Recommend.

Great pack of longer length guards for the top of my pixie cut. Don’t fit my Remington clippers but made do. Color may not match the color of clippers.

I know, we all go look at the one-star reviews. There's not a lot, but most of them go on about how these guards break easily on the first use. Well, I've used each guard twice now and no problems at all. They are a bit tight when they snap onto the blade and the plastic is a bit stiffer than the guards that came with my clipper. These are great clippers and makes it easy for me to clip the top of my hair since I've been cutting my own hair. Be aware that they're not hard plastic because they do bend. That's the only thing I don't love about them.

I like the product. It does its job. It is a little pricier than I prefer so I took a star. The comb is a bit soft and flexible so I handle it gently.

I bought these since I needed a larger guard for my Wahl clippers. They are plastic and not real sturdy but they do work with the Wahl clippers and did get the job done. I only used them on thin hair so not sure how they would do with real thick hair.

Great price and exactly what I needed! I like to cut my son’s curly hair longer on top and these attachments let me do less scissor work and use the clippers higher up his head which made the whole process faster and easier. Not quite as solid feeling as the attachments that came with my clippers but not weak or flimsy by any means. Recommend!

So pleased with these. I have been cutting my son's hair for years with the Wahl clippers but he is almost 16 now and wants it longer on the top. I tried scissors but was not very good at that so I went searching for a longer guard than what orginally came with my clippers. These are perfect! Just want I needed. Works great on my clippers and my son is very happy with his haircut now.

So, 1 was so bent I had to throw it out - totally useless. :( The other 2 are usable, just not super durable or sturdy. At least I didn't spend a lot of money on them.

These work and feel great but the clip holding it to the clippers broke on one the first time I used it. I don't think I was forceful with it but you have to be extra careful since these are full plastic I guess. Haven't that issue with any of my other guards so I think these are just flimsy plastic.

I got these for the 2" but it's actually more like 1 3/4". Worth the price I guess but don't expect a 2" guard. I haven't measure the others but I'm sure they're smaller than labeled also.

If you had really long hair maybe. but zipping a clipper over your head and expecting even length hair at the lengths this does in unrealistic. Maybe if your hair stood up all over your head but not if it lays flat.

They fit like the ones that come with clippers out of the box but are longer so you can cut the top of your hair well. Good buy.
