I purchased these extra long guards for at-home haircuts. The idea was to use these instead of scissors on top. The 1.5 worked great for doing this, made cutting hair at home perfect and foolproof.I’m giving it 4 stars because the 2 inch immediately broke when I applied it to my clippers (Wahl brand). The plastic is definitely flimsy, so go gentle on them.

The set of 3 combs is a good value for the money. I wasn't sure which length I wanted so this is the perfect solution.No sharp corners and it fits Wahl clippers perfectly.The combs are a bit fragile and can break if they are roughly handled though.

You’ll not be disappointed with the results. Makes clippers cutting a little easier when cutting past the standard clipper guards.

Mistakenly thought these were made in USA. That is not the case. These comb guides were made in the PRC and not surprisingly, they are manufactured of a flimsy plastic, nothing like the quality used in the original, made in USA, Wahl comb guides. However, they seem to do the job. This reviewer may try to upgrade in the future to Wahl comb guides but have been unable to find them.

I'm a consumer not pro but I know In general long combs don't do good job w thin hairs lone mine unless you have very sharp blade. So far this combs are doing good w my Cordless Wahl Pro 5-Star Magic Clipper.

These are as sturdy as the shorter guides that came with the clippers and make cutting my hair much easier and more even than using scissors.

These guys are very nice, very well made, but I never could get them to fit my clipper. I thought based on the the ad it would fit, but it did not.

I have very fine hair, so I always have trouble cutting it myself with a clipper. These help me get the correct length in the back, which of course I can't see until I'm done. I do have to use a comb to make my hair stand up, but that is normal with fine hair. So glad I bought these. No more paying for hair cuts at places that never listen to what I want and cut it they way they want.

These work as advertised. easy to attach and remove but don't fall off while using. I have an old Wahl pet trimmer and I even installed new blades on it but this just seems to not work as I hoped. I have to hold on to the end of the hair and force it over the blades through the combs. I'll donate these because they just don't work for me.

I do NOT recommend buying these. The plastic tab where the guard attaches is thin cheapy plastic and one of ours broke before I even got a chance to use it. The quality of these is not even remotely comparable to the nice thick Wahl clipper guards the actual clipper comes with. I like the size options of this set and the ones that weren't broken worked well to cut hair. They don't go on as easy as other clipper guards and I would guess they won't last as long either. It won't take much for that

These fit the clipper and work well. They're made of a softer material than the original equipment on my Wahl clipper but I feel these are of higher quality and will last longer. I have no complaints with this product.

When Covid hit my barber couldn't trim my beard any longer, and I wear my beard fairly long. I had tried trimming with scissors but anyone that has tried to trim hair looking in a mirror knows what that's like. Largest clip tab snapped as soon as I put it on my whal clippers. The other two worked out as they should. Plastic definitely does seem lower quality.

So, unfortunately, one of the blades arrived without the tab broken off that keeps the guard attached to the clippers. I didn't see the tab in the box, so it may have been boxed up that way. And of course it was the one I was planning on using the most!Otherwise, the guards seem about the same quality as what came with the clippers I have, Wahl model 9649, wireless rechargeable clippers. They fit just fine on there.Personally I think these are a bit on the expensive side for 3 clipper guards…

Easy enough to cut my hair using these. They seem a little flimsy so I'd be careful, but after 4 cuts they're doing just fine.
