Review on 🔧 Enhance Performance: Energy Suspension 8.3115G Front Control Arm Bushing for Toyota by Chris Bradford

Revainrating 5 out of 5

No more hikers on the Autobahn. . .

Let me get the elephant out of the way first - these bushings are very difficult to install. This is by no means something for the standing or the "I only change the oil and brake pads" person. I am an experienced shade tree mechanic and the installation took me a total of 12 hours of labor using professional air tools. The most difficult thing is to pull out the old rubber bushings, for this you need a flashlight. Once installed, the truck was virtually uncontrollable because the alignment was too far. I recommend towing it to the workshop. Replaced the bushings due to problems with wandering on the pavement, the situation was getting worse. Now those jacks are put in place, no more hanging around. I have 205k on my 2002 4Runner. Every workshop wanted to replace the control levers, which is very expensive. Getting used to it is not an option due to age. This kit saved me a lot of money but they are very difficult to replace. In general, the energy suspension bushings are of high quality. Take an extra lube, you can't use too much. If you don't use enough, the bushings will squeak.
