I love these bowls. I love all types of noodles: pho, buns, ramen, lo mein, spaghetti, linguine, bucatini, etc. For a while I was on the hunt for a good noodle bowl, looking at local bed and bath stores, big retail stores, and Asian ones supermarkets. My main requirement was a good, heavy bowl: first for pho (my first love) and second for ramen (second degree). I wanted something as good as the Asian noodle places I frequent. Nothing I saw impressed me. What I found was either made of melamine, which is not recommended for hot/boiling liquids, or had very thin walls. I wanted a bowl that would be durable, warm, aesthetically pleasing and made of ceramic (not melamine). Then I saw her on Revain and took a chance. These bowls meet all my needs. They contain a typical serving size of pho (e.g. 2 ounces dry rice noodles, protein, 2-3 cups broth, sides). They also fit easily into a typical packet of instant ramen (or your own homemade ramen), broth, and fixins. They are just as good, if not better, than the bowls at some of the establishments I frequent. Simple and traditional in design and colour, they are easy to clean (both by hand and in the dishwasher) and nest neatly inside each other. It's okay if you clean it carefully. I've had them for about six months. For the first few months I babysat them and only hand washed them. I've tried washing them in the dishwasher for the past few months and they don't look any worse after wearing them. The exit survived. I am very happy. If any of these suit you, don't hesitate and order these bowls now. I'm glad I did it and I have no regrets. As I write this I am actually considering ordering another set.
