I ordered this to repair my 1988 Evinrude 30HP Electric Primer. Easy to install, but after checking, the operators found a leak through the o-ring on the auto/manual stem (red part, o-ring part only). I compared my original stem o-ring to the new one and easily noticed that the new stem o-ring is smaller (i.e. not as thick). I didn't really need the ability to add winterizing fluid to my engine, so I poured out a new one and installed my original stem/O-ring in the new cap (which I needed because I had damaged the vacuum tube fittings on my original).
