Review on PIECES XFITTING COUPLING TRANSITION FITTINGS by Terry Myers

I know there are other ways to upgrade with threaded fittings or things that look like shark bites. I don't really like shark bites as they lick over the copper after a while when the acidic water causes a little green corrosion under the o-ring so I just avoid them altogether and they're expensive. I think they are too lazy or insecure about their soldering skills for plumbers. They worked great when I had to leave some CPVC in the hunt. I've taken to using only PEX when I'm refinishing something because it's instant, easy and quick, requires fewer fittings, and is much more freeze resistant than copper or CPVC. I wish they were all plastic.
