Review on Rain-X 5079279-1 Latitude Wiper Blade - 22" (Single Pack) by Jennings Ford

I'm only writing this review because my experience is so unlike some of the negative reviews I've seen on here. I installed these blades on two of my machines over three years ago. I've just ordered a replacement set because they're starting to wobble a bit and since the old ones can be moved to another 'truck' vehicle that actually needs the blades the cost is really negligible. I have installed them on several cars (18-26 inch) and after reading the instructions I have never had any problems. I can see where they may not fit on some vehicles with severely curved windshields. My uncle had a Studebaker I think. In the late 50's no blade, including new ones, could get completely clean, but I've had no problems whatsoever with these blades other than, as another reviewer noted, they don't work well. on a dry windshield. I would never do that, but we have too many pine trees, and sometimes I "sweep" the straw out the window with blades. This then almost always requires liberal use of the windshield washer to wash away all traces of oil/dirt on the windshield. This indicates that these blades work best (even more so than most) with a clean windshield, but whatever Part of this is a willingness to splurge a bit on washer fluid. It may be my imagination, but I seem to work better with Rain-X or Prestone in this regard than some of the others I've tried.
