I connected this to a dimmable switch when I installed it, thinking naturally dimmable. It dims a bit, but it's clearly not designed for that. Any dimming of the Lutron DVWCL-153PH below 50% will cause the light to strobe or turn off completely. It's probably no good even trying to dim that light. EDIT: When activated, the light now only turns on and off randomly. I continued to use this unit with the Lutron switch (PN above) although the dimming function did not work. I left it at the max level, although sometimes it got lower and I didn't notice it for a while. Perhaps this played a role in the early demise of the world.
