In general I'm a picky shopper when it comes to quality but when it comes to a t-shirt I just want something of decent quality at a good price. Three Calvin Klein v-neck t-shirts at Costco for $19.99 cost more than what I thought was necessary (although they're definitely better quality). So I found these Gildans and tried them out. The fact that they cost less than $2 a jersey bothered me so I wasn't expecting much but they are actually better than expected considering the very reasonable price! I washed them once before wearing them and my first impression is that they fit great (I ordered a medium size and I have a 39 chest and 33 waist) and very acceptable quality considering that price considered. I then compared them to some old Costco Kirkland v-neck t-shirts I had a long time ago. These Gildan fabrics are made from lighter, thinner cotton so their durability after washing is unknown, but I have absolutely no complaints about the price to begin with. Gildan cotton definitely has a coarser feel than Kirkland's, but not enough to put me off buying more Gildan. by price. The Gildans' stitching isn't as smooth and refined as the Kirkland's, but it's acceptable given the price. a set of 6 shirts of acceptable quality and I found them even better than I expected. If the durability lasts after a reasonable number of washes then I definitely plan to buy them again.
