Bought G5X to replace G12. First impressions are very good. From the pros: - less distortion at wide angle - less noise level - ISO 800 is quite working. - noticeably faster continuous shooting - bright electronic viewfinder - best video quality - double stabilization - WiFi with the possibility of remote control from a smartphone (with a picture on the screen and zoom!) - rotary zoom ring on the lens - large touch screen - Rechargeable with micro USB cable. Minuses: - due to the increase in the screen, the control buttons have decreased in size and become smaller -no ISO ring and no spot exposure selection button -no landscape and underwater programs - relatively high price In general, a worthy continuation of the G10-G16 series.
