Good idea, but check diameter of vial first

Good idea. However, my vials did not fit with the molded plastic insert provided. It should be noted that there is no standard size for insulin vials. Lantus vials are taller than skinnier than Humalog/Novolog/R/N/etc.I used the same container with small freezer get packs and achieved the same result. Could have also achieved the same result with a cheaper insulated double-wall container and moldable gel pack insert(s).
